Abstract

In order to account for substantial differences in the concept and imagination of heaven between relevant religious actors in the evangelical world in Santiago, Chile, we conducted an analysis of their discourses based on the methodologies of Basil Bernstein, Klaus Krippendorff, Norman Fairclough and Teun van Dijk. This allowed us to determine the spatial aspects and their corresponding focus (anthropocentric or theocentric). The family of evangelical faith has evolved from a common theological approach, living in the same city or coinciding in space and time and on eschatological premises that maintain common threads.
