Abstract

The present text tries to demonstrate as inside of No sera la Tierra there is carried out a dismantlement of the grand narratives, which is effected by means of a reversed utopia, by means of which there are dismantled the different Utopias of the 20th century, associated with such concepts as the idea of Progress, Science, Truth, Civilization or History. The reversed Utopia reveals the dominant and destructive characteristic of the Utopias, which promise an attainable remuneration in a remote time, thanks to which they postpone and suppress the man in the present time. Finally, I ask about the character that this novel grants to the role of the writing, in the sense of if it is or not one more of the different Utopias that No sera la Tierra dismantles.
