Resumo

Esta pesquisa visa determinar indicadores-chave para avaliar a capacidade de transparência, autorregulação e participação dos usuários, as três dimensões da “prestação de contas”. Um ponto de partida metodológico triplo foi adotado: uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre indicadores de prestação de contas e suas características, um mapeamento dos meios de referência com indicadores de prestação de contas, e avaliação da mídia. Um sistema de 11 indicadores-chave foi obtido para medir e comparar sites de mídia e determinar se eles satisfazem as três dimensões-chaves da prestação de contas e os elementos associados. Tal sistema pode ser aplicado em múltiplos ambientes para fomentar o jornalismo de qualidade.

Marcel Mauri-Rios, Universitat Pompeu Fabra

É jornalista, historiador, PhD em Comunicação e professor no Departamento de Comunicação da Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) de Barcelona. Ele é membro do Grupo de Pesquisa em Comunicação Política, Jornalismo e Democracia (POLCOM-GRP) da UPF. Ele é docente de Deontologia Jornalística na mesma universidade. Suas principais linhas de pesquisa são a ética jornalística e a prestação de contas da mídia, o jornalismo político e a história do jornalismo. Ele participou como pesquisador principal em vários projetos competitivos espanhóis e internacionais relacionados a suas linhas de pesquisa.

Xavier Ramon-Vegas, Universitat Pompeu Fabra

É PhD em Comunicação e professor no Departamento de Comunicação da Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Ele é membro do Grupo de Pesquisa em Comunicação Política, Jornalismo e Democracia (POLCOM-GRP). Sua pesquisa e ensino focam-se nos campos da ética jornalística, prestação de contas da mídia (media accountability) e comunicação esportiva. Ele participou de três projetos competitivos financiados pelo governo espanhol sobre a responsabilidade dos meios de comunicação e plataformas de checagem de fatos.

Ruth Rodríguez-Martínez, Universitat Pompeu Fabra

É PhD em jornalismo pela Universidade Complutense de Madrid. Ela é membro do grupo de pesquisa POLCOM-GRP da Universidade Pompeu Fabra (UPF) de Barcelona, onde exerce como pesquisadora e professora. Suas linhas de pesquisa estão ligadas à media accountability e a desinformação. Ela co-liderou dois projetos de pesquisa competitiva financiados pelo governo espanhol (MediaACES e FACCTMedia). Ela participou do projeto europeu MediaAcT e lidera o grupo espanhol do projeto EurOMo.

Jesús Díaz-Campo, Universidad Internacional de La Rioja

É doutor em Jornalismo pela Universidade Complutense de Madrid. Professor Titular/Associado da Universidade Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), onde exerce os cargos de Assistente do Vice-Reitor de Pesquisa e Secretário do Comitê de Ética da Pesquisa. Ele dirige o grupo de pesquisa Comunicação e Sociedade Digital (COYSODI, pelas siglas em espanhol) e é o principal pesquisador do projeto Newsharing: Consumo de notícias nas mídias sociais. Análise de fatores na seleção e difusão do conteúdo midiático (convocação de Projeto de P&D 2017 Desafios).
