Abstract

This article, as its title indicates, tries to present religions like promoters of
humanity, without obviating the difficulties that such a claim presents. The author understands that this approach, that of humanizatin, is safer to show the authenticity of a religion than the appeals to divinity. Also, the author presents inter-religious dialogue as necessary for the peace and coexistence between individuals and peoples. And he offers a series of hints and orientations for a good encounter among religions.

Doctor en Teología por la Universidad de Friburgo (Suiza). Catedrático en la Facultad de Teología San Vicente Ferrer de Valencia (España). Entre sus numerosas publicaciones cabe mencionar Para encontrar a Dios. Vida teologal (2002), Jesús, revelación del misterio del hombre. Ensayo de antropología teológica (2002³), La Gracia.
