No place for a thesis. The end of discourse through Martin Heiddegger

Abstract

Thirty years after his death, returning to Heidegger is a task that must not be relinquished. This article aims to analyse the nature of this forced return that, as you will see, goes beyond the limits of the mere «system» and even of the «author» himself, challenging the principal mainstays of western metaphysical thought. But above all, this return shows the fundamental dynamics of such thought. Dynamics of dominance carried out through movements that incorporate and eliminate all otherness. This, on the one hand, results in the globalisation of dominance to which there is no alternative, and on the other, in the collapse of metaphysical discourse itself. Expository language becomes inevitable, but also impossible.
