Abstract

Many actors trained in our academies encounter problems when performing particular contemporary aesthetics, particularly in intermedial theatre. In the present article I propose to apply Bolter and Grusin’s concept of remediation to actor training, towards an intermedial performance. Specifically, I will discuss ways to apply remediation to the imparted techniques of the course Actuación II, informally known as the Realism Course of the Drama Program at the Universidad Católica de Chile.
