Abstract
This article has as main purpose to do a remembrance of the Geographical and Hydrological History of the Reyno de Chile, a document of great interest for the knowledge of the country during the first middle of the XVIII century. It was written by the Oidor Fiscal de la Real Audiencia, Dr. Joseph Perfecto de Salas. This document was entrusted by the king of Spain, under the government of Don Manuel de Amat y Junyent, and by mistke it is known by its name.
