Abstract

The beginning of nuncio Ettore Felici’s diplomatic mission in Chile in 1928 was an occasion to invite the Chilean government to subscribe a concordat. This article examines the negotiations carried out for that purpose and the three concordat projects that were drafted. The context of these negotiations is given in the introduction through a summary of the diplomatic missions held between Chile and the Holy See since the independence.
