Abstract

This article talks about memoir works of Diego Muñoz and Tomás Lago, whose center point is Pablo Neruda’s personality. Since youth both authors had a very close relationship with the poet. Each one of the analyzed memoirs covers a lapse of 20 years, but in different decades: From 1923 to 1934 in the case of Muñoz and from 1935 to 1955 in Lago’s case. Both memories give testimony of a revealing time and biographic circumstances.
