Special issues

For the publication of special issues or other content selected by guest editors, "RIC" adheres to the following additional criteria:

• The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the content of the entire journal, including all special issues.
• Special issue articles receive the same editorial oversight as regular articles, including external peer review.
• Guest editors are specialists with relevant credentials according to the topic of each special issue.
• The Editor-in-Chief or members of the editorial team work in close coordination with the guest editors.
• Articles submitted to a special issue by the guest editors are handled under an independent review process and do not constitute more than 25% of the issue's total.
